Blinded Me with Science
I like when song lyrics can be aptly trotted out on singular occasions. Last night, at the height of the lunar eclipse, I received a text message from a friend: “I’ll see you on the dark side of the moon.”
I think it would be fun to go through an ordinary day and try to work as many appropriate song lyrics into conversation as possible.

It’s not exactly a classic like the Pink Floyd album, but your post title brought to mind Thomas Dolby’s song “She Blinded Me with Science” featuring voice samples from the eccentric British scientist Magnus Pike. Was this an intentional reference?

When bored I have attempted to hold conversations with friends in nothing but song titles (yes, I’m a geek) and I seem to recall the same idea being used as a round on the game show “Whose line is it anyway?”.

Yes, it was intentional. Thomas Dolby used to be a neighbor of mine during my three years in Los Angeles when I lived just below the Hollywood sign.

Well, take the ribbon from my hair! What a cool idea.
