I am saddened by Nakamura squandering his obvious talent. You say he "amazingly" went down to defeat. Why is it amazing that his arrogant attitude towards his opponent backfired on him?
Playing blitz is obviously his drug of choice, but wouldn't he be better off calming down, learning a little humility, and maturing into a better player? Carlsen and Radjabov - his close contemporaries - have sped past him in the Fide rankings while he appears to be languishing. It's a real pity, because he is gifted.
Or have I got it all wrong? Please tell me he has a more mature side...
